Days 33 and 34! Finished off the dark brown, some of the confetti, and got started on a lighter brown :] Rewatched Galaxy Quest and can still very highly recommend the movie, it was honestly made for me

Days 31 and 32, we've reached a whole month of working on this project so far! Had to move the hoop to start on panel 7, so I got a picture of the whole project, the back of my work, and started on a button stitch around the edges to hopefully avoid any further fraying. Here's to another month! :]

i would argue that this ad was successful

an advertisement that loaded incorrectly. the image is enlarged and cropped into the bottom right corner of the screen. it says "awaken your joy" in all caps, with the image of a woman with space buns smiling and laughing. there is no further context.

had a dream the other night where i was traveling through a city on foot trying to get back home, and randomly encountered a nature spirit that looked like a jaguar with bonsai tree antlers it was so cool and you could tell it was super powerful and it did not concern itself with human affairs

Day 23 and 24 updates :] finished off panel 4 and raced through the first 30 rows on panel 5! Back to writing Snowdrift tomorrow and more work to be done on the PDF pages. Today was tiring but we're going strong! Oh! I totally forgot, too, I never actually showed WHAT this project is supposed to be!

Not much to see for this panel. been working on other things that're eating up cross-stitching time, but they're equally as important so we're chippin' away at everything bit by bit :] about twenty lines of the brown left to go for this panel! then some dots of other colors, and onto the next!

extra picture today! finished off the third panel and got started on the fourth! had to move the hoop over, so i made sure to grab a picture so we can really see how much progress we've made so far. i think tau ceti really glows when you back up

eleven twelve and just like that we've completed the second panel, and we can stare directly into the light of tau ceti :] next few panels should be mostly open space and go by quicker. making good progress on my BNHA fic too! halfway through writing the whole thing now! the rest should go quicker 🕺

seven eight we finished the first panel :] now the rest all have a 10 stitch overlap on the left in my pattern so they're a little smaller, which i'm perfectly fine with. makes it feel more sustainable to work on long-term. we'll see tau ceti soon!
