I saw ST3 before ST2 as well! Opening was a bit of a spoiler!

Happy Birthday #StarTrek! I've been marathoning ST Picard this entire weekend! S3 is such a wonderful nostalgia hit.

Maybe I just always managed to go through the line so fast he didn't pop out!

I saw this for the first time in memory last month! Was that always there?!

Best Trek Lit story ever! I just bought it a second time so it's on my Amazon as well as my Nook!

Just finished #BatmanRevolution by @farawaypress.com Really cool sequel to the Batman 89 movie! Has a lot of different villains / stories going on. If the author happens to see this I'd love to know who he pictured as playing the Riddler and Camille!

Yeah every single episode is plotted out, all the way to the very last one. I also have looser plots for the prequel series which is 110 episodes. And I've already published DYNASTY a 6 book high fantasy series which is a very, very distant prequel.

Watching this before the podcast, I was shocked to find I actually didn't remember the details of this episode, just the final scene!

I'm set, thank you. I've been using the same editor since the beginning.

Once I've self-corrected as much as I can, I have a professional editor do an edit.

I do the entire "season" in one batch. I've been plotting this since 1993 and then finally wrote the rough drafts for the first half of the series 5-10 years ago, and now i'm editing them for publication. I have all 154 "episodes" outlined!

Derek Beebe @derekjbeebe.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

I'll be publishing 4-5 at the start of next year, now it's time to go back to 4 and start all over again! The series is a tv show in novel form with hour long episodes in prose. 1-2-3 were Season One, and 4-5 is Season Two.

I just finished the first edit on Book 5 on my sci-fi series TERMINUS! Books 1-3 are already published on Amazon.

I just re-read this a few months ago! Great book!

The animation was gorgeous! My only complaint is that it felt like a 6-12 episode season crammed into one movie.

THEY WILL KILL YOU just premiered on HBO. This is a great movie! It's like Ready Or Not with Kill Bill thrown in! Amazing horror-comedy with great action and big laughs!

GOOD LUCK HAVE FUN DON'T DIE This movie was barely in theaters but it is amazing! It's this year's "Everything Everywhere All At Once"! It's absolutely hilarious it's also a fairly dark sci-fi story in between all the insanity. Think The Terminator if it was done as a comedy.

Sacrifice of Angels is my top DS9 episode! And thus probably by default my top Trek episode!

I seem to be one of the few who really like this movie. I thought it was a really interesting look at how the world dealt with having alien tech and preparing for the next invasion.

Clearly a lot of people checked out after the original trilogy ended., which I can understand. It was a very clear end to the story. The second trilogy is something else.
