I rebranded everything I publish (site, docs, slides, socials) in eight days, on spare time, with Claude and a private repo. Not a designer: Claude did the visuals, I was a human colour picker. Then tokens, 4 npm packages, ~80 PRs. deramond.dev/blog/rebrand...

Another experiment: I wanted a new representation of my design tokens, so dtgraph draws them as a node graph. One node per token, one edge per reference. A few thousand tokens is hard to hold in your head. Much easier to look at. julien-deramond.github.io/dtgraph/
Screenshot of the dtgraph playground: a dark interface showing 508 design tokens as coloured dots clustered by group and joined by 324 reference edges. The most-referenced primitives are drawn as the largest dots, with labels like "white", "sans", "normal" and "900". A search field, a "Color by group / type" toggle and an "Export SVG" button frame the graph. A hint bar reads: drag to pan, scroll to zoom, hover to spotlight, double-click to dive in, drop DTCG files anywhere.

A side experiment: Bootstrap 6's design system as DTCG tokens, plus a visual theme builder that writes them. Pick a brand colour, a radius, a density: out comes a custom.scss. Very draft, and not an official Bootstrap thing. julien-deramond.github.io/bootstrap-to...

I integrated this into my note-taking system and I’m experimenting with using it instead of remote LLMs when I just need basic help. Less powerful, but possibly good enough for summarizing, grammar, or reformatting. Still early, and I haven’t tried other local models yet.

💡Needed a diff between branches, but wanted to skip some folders or files. Turns out this syntax is pretty useful: ``` git diff v1-dev..master > v1-dev..master.diff -- . ':(exclude)dir_or_file' ```

Didn't know about that, but if a page includes <meta name="fediverse:creator" content="@user@server">, then when it’s shared on Mastodon, an extra footer banner appears linking to that Fediverse user.

Maybe overkill, but I installed Raycast for a quick shortcut to insert the Unicode arrow I often use in editors and terminal. Created a new snippet with the shortcut ";arrow" that renders "→". I'm curious about Raycast best practices. What shortcut formats do you use for this kind of thing? 🤔
