I’ve said before that Go-Onger is *the* reason I’m into toku. It was my first exposure to the Japanese side of it and it’s over-the-top nature and goofy but lovable cast really opened my eyes to the “spirit” of tokusatsu. If any other toku was my first, I might not have fallen in love with it. BUT

The more I think about it, the more I think Heisei Phase 1 Rider was completely dud-less. Not a single dud show among them. Even shows that (I think) are deeply flawed are still very interesting and worth watching.

There are more games coming out that I wanna play than I have time for. As a result, I’m looking for any excuse I can find to skip games I would have played otherwise, and “they used AI” is an instant “skip” for me. There’s a million other games! I’ll just play something else!
