Re age, well, the platform is still in beta, so they will flesh things out. Right now I guess they just reused some date field with some shifts to anynymize real date. Maybe it was easier than rewriting stuff, idk. As for countries on Threads/X the whole idea is to show true location.

It is the same as in all the bluesky clients. The Hash button to go to feeds. the cog to get to settings. Then you click on the feed and get that pin/unpin button
