It's quite simple to check whether a product is truly European: 1. Headquarters in Europe 2. Parent company in Europe too 3. Subprocessors in Europe Some products tick every box (LeaderGPU, DentroChat). Most are a mixture. How to tell them apart:

50+ stars made us migrate from Github to Codeberg! 🏔️ Finding *good* European Infrastructure providers was hard, so we created a github repo earlier this year to make it easier.

ProductHunt now flags posts that are probably written with AI. We assume more platforms will follow, because most social media run on human interaction. It won't be only Anthropic and Model Labs marking LLM output. The platforms where it gets published will mark it too.

We can recommend this listicle. Interesting: out of 10 areas, 7 use LLMs, and 8 use transformer models. So even 9 years after Google released "Attention is all you need", their transformer architecture is still the major innovation driver in AI.

Soofi has same architecture as Nemotron, ~80% of the dataset mixture of Nemotron, hence "it's fully European" not very convincing. Then they train on a dataset "AIML-TUDA/QA-base" and others which is basically a German rephrasing of GPQA diamond test set! Soofi Team acknowledged this already.
