For mothers this is possible for a number of countries (see long-term trends for France). For fathers, only few statistical offices collect information on paternal age at childbirth by parity. The longest of these time-series only go back to the early 1960s: Norway: www.ssb.no/en/statbank/...

New publication with Kai Willfuehr in Human Reproduction: "Current "dramatically" high paternal ages at childbirth are not unprecedented". Probably no big news for demographers, but very likely big news to many medical researchers and biologists: bit.ly/Paternal_Age
The figure shows for selected countries that the current mean paternal ages at childbirth are despite recent drastic increases still below those registered in the first half of the 20th century.
