$500 right before the election won't help the 15 million people losing their insurance because of Medicaid cuts and expiring tax credits. And it won't come close to offsetting higher gas and other prices caused by an unnecessary war and chaotic tariffs.

We know DOGE had access to sensitive data. Yet, after more than a year of investigation and numerous accommodations, the Trump Administration still refuses to tell the public whether Musk did anything with Americans' data. The Administration should be accountable to the taxpayers, not Musk.

OpenAI's technology reportedly tried to hack the Education Department's website to access Civil Rights Office data. Musk's DOGE also tried to access students' data. Private data must stay private. These matters require real oversight and accountability.

61 years ago today, President Johnson signed Medicare and Medicaid into law, guaranteeing health care for seniors, kids, and families with disabilities. Trump promised to always protect Medicare. This week, he broke that promise again — cutting a program that kept Rx costs down.
