I went to an evening with Huey Morgan - of the Fun Lovin' Criminals - at the Hay winter festival (last year? Year before? How time flies ...) and he was passionate about this record in particular, and so I went out and bought it.

The Ramones: Road to Ruin; Vinyl.

Was it in Hornby's High Fidelity where someone's wearing a Ramones t-shirt, and they get ribbed for not knowing any of their songs? And then the meme is revisited in another book - or possibly TV show - with someone misguidedly making the same sartorial choice with a Nirvana t-shirt, but with much deadlier, or more violent repercussions from a psychopathic Canadian? That was a comedy, I think, on audiobook, now I think about it, though, so I've got no image of a cover in my head for that one ... Ah, I forget. Anyway ...

Hence the haiku.
