I can't think what style of wheel would fit. Flinstone rollers, stubby wheels, big wheels with clearance to conceivably go over terrain? None seems to suit in my mind. Maybe more keel of an actual boat as it magically plows through the earth. Or a palanquin carried by golems?

I know several trench sets get brought to the regular huzzah night (think crusade is on pause for the new release) but agreed infinity terrain has a lot of great verticality and variety perfect for playing

It can be interesting. Dota2 Rubick can copy an opponent's last cast. Flexibility and possible counter to a strong spell. Skill expression too. Opponents might cast a quick follow up to cover up an important spell, or focus rubick early in a fight. Good players might copy multiple spells in a fight

Jackals for my eventual World Eaters. I'd started these guys a long time ago and lost track. Nice to finish them, been using them for Imperium Maladictum.

Adventures in toddler painting continue. Got a cheap set of acrylic droppers so I don't use good stuff. He's definitely starting to put some thought and attention to what he's putting paint on. Probably get some larger and sinpler plastic or wood to paint and play with soon. #warhammercommunity

3.5 year old with an old brush dipping into acrylic paints to put color on a stormcast liberator. Cardboard to keep the table safe.

The cheaper acrylics weren't thinned much but did a good job of sticking to the primer and only obscured a bit of detail.

Hobby progress. Adopted an armiger and dressed him in rags. Waiting for oils to dry then I'll highlight the runes and finish him just in time for GHO #minipainting #warhammer

A helverin, wrapped in rags made from strips of baby wipes. Did some edge highlighting and runes in red on the rags.

The same, but now on a 3dp base and grimed up with oils and rust effects.

Mid year hobby check-in, on track to decrease backlog. A lot of the building and painting is for a friend's Zerg, but my throughput is still positive. 80% of played games are Spearhead, with first 40k matches next week. Need to finish ~12 Stormcast models for 2k AoS and the new tome

Got hung up on The Fool's wording of "this tarot cannot be removed," she hoped THIS referred to the target and cause the entire game to lock up. We got through that but still had the question of Fool's last sentence: Activates twice ever again that game? Twice each hand? Does it take a Tarot slot?

Fukuzatsu (by @neonrot.bsky.social ) was a fantastic evening of destroying our decks and negotiations over trading Tarot modifications. My wife set the mood with Fool into World turn 1. Highly encouraged for a Balatro inspired twist of poker. Print reference sheets to help with the learning curve.

Agreed on the music. Concrete floors and echoing ceilings make it loud enough. I spent the afternoon in classes, which were good but selling all 10 would have been too crowded for the one small side room. Still glad they offered them.
