If you’re familiar with the paintings of 17th century artist Francisco Goya, you’ll see the inspiration to the imagery in Robert Eggers’ new film WERWULF.

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK turns an astonishing 45 years old today, simply one of the great adventure films of all time and one of those movies that made me want to work in movies. Saw this at the Americana Theater in Panorama City as a high schooler with ten bucks in my pocket and it changed my life.

Would watch this at the drop of a hat, no questions asked. McTiernan would have to direct. Or Verhoven. #robocop #predator @necaofficial

I storyboarded all of this back in the day, the opening to the MATRIX sequels, so much fun to work on, met so many smart and kind people. After this comes the Kung Fu stuff, so brilliantly storyboarded by the great Steve Skroce Long drive to Venice every day, but worth the mileage, lol.

Voted for the Oscars for the first time the other day. Went from gathering carts at the local Target in the San Fernando Valley as a kid to checking my ballot for The Academy. That's a something to be both proud and humble about, and that I am. As time goes by I want to savor as much as I can.
