Yep, nice work Simon, 'small cheap office space' is the dream

Paul Burgess @delar.ge · 24/09/2026

This is the thing that's often issue in co-working spots, there's no decent place to take a call that wasn't planned - plus a lot of often built around being part of a larger start up community etc., I just need a quiet place to work

In the 2000s, when I started out in web design, I would often make sites for artists in exchange for art. This original painting by Matt Sewell was the first one, created just for me and remains a firm favourite.

An original painting by Matt Sewell showing 3 cartoon style girls with hair blowing in the wind holding badgers with one girl feeding 4 blue birds from her hand

A few random Brighton photos from 2005

Close up of a white speech bubble sticker with thick red tag style lettering on it

Pasted up black/white paper street art of a man and woman with multiple small characters around them with wings on their heads, two brandishing guns

Looking down a street with graffiti artists working on a large piece on the left and people chatting on the pavement on the right, with an office block style building in tne background

3 rappers on stage outdoors, the one in the foreground wears a black top hat and a sparkling red ringmaster style jacket. A video camera can be seen in shot from the right.

Missed out on a cap I really wanted on Vinted, searched for it online afterwards and got it for £2 cheaper directly from the brand's website. Moral of the story is, never give up.

Whenever I see a new CSS feature surface and I don't have time to dig into it straight away (which is every time), I think "Kevin's got me covered". Because I know that when the time comes when I need that feature, I can visit you and get up to speed quickly and simply. So _thank you_!
