A chaos emerald from sonic I made yesterday!! Such a challenging tattoo for me tbh but I loved it! I don’t work with any color but shades of red but the amount of reds I had on my tray for this was scary!! But I did it and it looks so cool 🥹 #tattsky #protattooartist

Love spending $200 on tattoo supplies in one go because I haven’t seen my supply guy in almost a month (It’s okay I save all my cash for it so it’s like fake money)

Being an artist is fun because some days you look at all the things you drew and think, wow I did that! And then some other days you spend hours just trying to draw a circle 😑

Bringing it to 🦋 by request: People hate their own art because it looks like they made it. They think if they get better, it will stop looking like they made it. A better person made it. But there's no level of skill beyond which you stop being you. You hate the most valuable thing about your art.

There’s nothing sadder than being excited about someone wanting to book a tattoo with me and then seeing they want a fine line tattoo and having to explain I am not a fine line artist :( Fingies crossed they are still interested in the thinnest size lines I am willing to do (9rl lol) 🤞

sometimes what may look like a sharp “improvement” in someone’s art is just a change in the conscious choices they’re making. many artists need to conserve their energy and time, so often not every piece showcases the peak of their potential or the entire breadth of their skill

The power tattoo didn’t come out as good as I’d hoped because the client kept moving and their skin was really difficult and I am so sad that I didn’t give them the best tattoo 😩 I offered a touch up in a little over a month just in case it doesn’t heal well but fingies crossed it does
