Default is Ceramic for the bridge pickup and Alnico V for the neck, but I chose Alnico V for the bridge and Alnico II for the neck. Also what they wrote on the paper invoice 🤣

Ate dinner then back to work. New pickups & evertune back in place. Just finished soldering. Whew it’s been a minute since I’ve done any soldering. Forgot to buy heatshrinks…oh well. Just need to tape up then slap on new strings. It’s getting late so can only test and not jam :’<

Annnnd it’s out. Phew, not as bad as I thought. You can now see the bridge pickup which has two pieces of foam. Will def need to put that on the new ones

The evertune bridge is now removed and laying on its side. You can see the springs inside

😵‍💫 I have to remove this… This is the back of the evertune bridge. It looks so weird. Have to loosen the 4 phillips screws on that plate and then four black 2.5mm hex screws, then feed it through the front of the guitar. All this just to get to the pickups

Getting my adhd butt around to changing the pickups that arrived at the beginning of august… Was playing this last night through the new speaker setup and didn’t like the way it sounded compared to my other guitars.

Thanks! Yeah what influenced me want to recreate it was when I saw it in Hyper Duel (which they most likely got it from Gradius series). I recreated it using BitFontMaker2

Walking to my car for a break this morning and 4-5 turkeys are just moseying around my work’s parking lot together :D Not sure if the mom is still around but last year she birthed several chicks. I’d like to think these are the same birds from then.

Oh maybe I have! I had a 1x12 bandit transtube redline for awhile and was surprised how that thing sounds. It possibly has a marvel in it. imo the most important thing: trust your own ears and eff what everyone else says what sounds good. V30's do sound good, but they're not the only ones that do
