One day a Democrat will finally just tell ICE to get out and try to enforce it. It's all good to prepare the national guard and to tell them to get out, but until they are physically removed it does nothing.

It's official: Despite broad bipartisan support for Job Corps, the centers operated by contractors (about 80%) are being shuttered by June 30. That leaves 24 centers that are part of the Civilian Conservation Corps and operated by @altusfs.altgov.info.

Oh come on Dishwalla, that child absolutely did not ask this.

Lyrics from the song "Counting Blue Cars (Tell Me Your Thoughts On God)" by Dishwalla.

They are the opening lines. They are as follows:

Must've been mid afternoon.

I could tell by how far the child's shadow stretched out, and

He walked with a purpose in his sneakers, down the street

He had many questions like children often do.

He said

"Tell me all your thoughts on God
Tell me, am I very far?"

It has a comment that says "Multiply dividend by reciprocal and adjust" followed by the line "uint64_t result = dividend * reciprocal;"

The next line is a comment that says "Right shift if needed, as the result might be too large" followed by code that says "result = result >> 64;" and a comment that reads "Only use the lower 64 bits as the result".

I'm very rapidly becoming disillusioned with Tauri. A lot of the selling points of Rust start to disappear when you bolt on requirements. Some of them I get (you can't return borrowed values from async functions because *mumbles about wasm*) but some of them are just painful.

A website designed for sending Roblox Open Cloud Luau execution tasks and reading the results from them.

It has been given a Hotdog Stand theme makeover. This means it is composed of fully-saturated black, yellow, and red.

The text on the page is not important.

Dekkonot ☂️ @dekkonot.com · 01/02/2025

But I kinda wanted to make this public. So, I'm stuck. Probably the best option is to turn this into an electron (or Tauri) app and then deploy it, but I really don't want to just go "here's my GUI" and then it's an executable that's a thin wrapper around a website. Anyone have suggestions?
