When I looked up the book/verse, I read it as calling for a BAN on humans killing humans. It says “WHOEVER sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed.” It doesn’t say except those with legal authority. And there’s a LOT of blood shedding in the OT that goes unpunished!

Iran can't possibly blow up LA or San Diego, that's not a threat. The actual harmful part is Trump was negotiating. Trying to go "you don't have leverage over me, I don't care," as if that would alter the dynamic. Similar to when he pretended the Strait of Hormuz doesn't matter. It did not work.
