iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

For the first time in my life I vocally and adamantly refused to do work I was asked to. I have done many unpleasant tasks for my jobs in my life and always pushed through- but I drew a line at facilitating an AI generated module and saying no feels good.

Maybe I am clinically and ruthlessly depressed or maybe I'm having a normal reaction to everyone pretending the climate crisis isn't fucking real when it's right in front of us!!!!!!

I was stacking blocks with the kids at the block party, and one of the kids asked me if my mom was there. They were shocked to find out I'm actually older than their mom.

A screenshot from the movie Twilight (2008) depicting Edward, played by Robert Pattinson, laughing. It is a close up of his face, slightly obscured by a microscope. Edward has brown hair styled into a bouffant, thick eyebrows, and pale skin. He has a great shirt on. The side of Bella's head is slightly in frame as if we are in her POV. The color grade is tinted to a very blue colour as a stylistic choice for the movie Twilight.

The White House doing everything it can to "prove" aliens exist and walk among us as marginalized people feels more like concrete proof that aliens aren't and have never been real to me. A desperate straw grabbed at to try and wrangle the conspiracy brained back from achieving class consciousness.

One of my most prized possessions is the single PP sign I found driving home from Provost in the middle of Buttf*cknowhere, Alberta like a week or so after the by-election. All the other candidate signs beside it were shred to bits in the ditch.

Hi friends and comrades, I have been asked by a community member in my hometown of Lloydminster for assistance in securing housing. They have experienced inconsistent housing, and have been given an opportunity to move into an apartment if they can get $650 to secure the apartment before May 15.

I dropped the hand soap dispenser by the kitchen sink in a pot full of dirty water and it made me way more distressed than necessary. I have to leave it there, and dirty for a little bit so I don't clean the entire kitchen and wash my hands every time I touch something 🙈

Today, the Liberals rejected our NDP motion to ban surveillance pricing - a dystopian practice that will drive up costs for Canadians if we allow it to take root. The NDP is the only party fighting to protect you from getting ripped off at the checkout.

Today, the NDP is calling on the Carney government to implement a national ban on surveillance pricing - before it becomes a predatory new normal in Canadian life. Canadians are already being squeezed by the untenable cost of living. It’s time to stop the practice dead in its tracks.

When you drop a bomb on civilians, I think that’s murder. I don’t really care for any justifications. They’re people. The enormity of the loss is devastating and it’s easier for some people to look away. But for other people, that’s their family. Their children. It’s just sickening and so wrong.

You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.
