The biggest problem in real estate right now besides the prices is data centers. Can you imagine going through the hell of buying a house only for a data center to pop up nearby? You cant sell it even if you wanted to move. The house is basically worthless. Loud noise, air pollution, security lights

I went to get coffee and there were 3 cop cars in the Tim Hortons parking lot. Running. I asked them about it and they said they can't turn their cars off because it cuts the computer system off and they have to wait for it to reboot every time they turn it back on. In THIS economy?!

It should be illegal for a city council or mayor to give corporations 20 year tax breaks for operating in their city. The tax breaks should only be allowed as long as the entire elected council's position does. If they're only in office for 4 years then that's the extent of the tax break

Tonight I pat the chicken dry and coated it with butter instead of olive oil before seasoning. It's an old trick to make the skin crispy when baking them. Omg I forgot how good this is! Im glad I splurged on some butta!

I made 2 weeks worth of banana waffles for $3.69. I already had eggs & oil. I mixed up some flour & baking powder and bought 2 bunches of bananas. A box of frozen waffles, the cheapest with 8 in the box is $3.99. Ive got 32 waffles out of this.

The housing market in Michigan is being promoted as a buyers dream. But it's a buyers hellscape. You spend time and big money to buy a house and next thing you know an AI DATA center is built right near you. The noise 24/7 and the pollution makes that house basically unwanted, you cant sell it.
