In my game I played around with the idea of cards being everything. There is no resource besides cards! So if you want to buy something at an Exchange you have to trade your cards

Synergy for me! The whole reason I made a bullet hell card game was chasing that one turn where the deck goes infinite and you one shot the boss

It is a boss! So my game is a bullet hell card game and you normally get turns by picking up special bullets called power cells. This boss never fires power cells so instead you get a turn every 4 seconds (the main time mechanic)
