Waiting for train. I’ve not been in the office since June. Thankfully the station is very quiet, probably because it’s Friday. Normally no one comes in on Fridays but it’s induction week so the office is physically open to students today. I won’t be in my own office either today as an exception.

I’ve to go into the office tomorrow. I already feel extra tired tonight. I worked over an hour longer and then made a pasta (pasta itself was bought) dish with various ingredients. It doesn’t take long but coordinating when to add the ingredients to which pan is demanding for a fatigued brain.

Cleaners day was Tuesday she changed it to this afternoon and now to tomorrow. Her son and now her have been I’ll do chances might he slim of her turning up. We may have to try some rudimentary cleaning on Sunday, as B is away all of Saturday.

The cookies were a bit disappointing. I bought frozen dough that is gluten free, but it didn’t say on the front of the packaging or in the headline of Ocado for the product. Nothing wrong with gluten free as such but they just didn’t taste as expected as made from oat flour.

I’m feeling a bit better now. Light sensitivity much better at least. Can look at screen again. Still got neck ache and a bit of a headache and body pain though. We are going to catch up on bake off, eat pizza and bake cookies made from frozen cookie dough.

I woke up with neck & back pain & a headache. It’s not going away despite heat patche. Feeling a bit irritable and restless. On the other hand I cleaned the microwave. Which is the sort of task I’ve been incapable of for many months now. So the annoying restlessness is having a useful side effect.

Must have hit my hand while swimming again. The new pool has much harder plastic line seperation chains and since swimming there I often come back with bruises on my wrist, hand or forearm. Meh.

This story reminds me of how as a child I really struggled with wholegrain food and got upset if there wasn’t an alternative because I wouldn’t eat the wholegrain. I would eat rye bread (very standard in Germany) but it couldn’t have any grains or seeds in it. www.facebook.com/share/1HSq5c...

When I was a teenager in Germany and my English wasn’t very good yet I was always wondering why something was like china in your hand. It’s not exactly like you can hold a whole country in your hands. I did not realise that china was also an English word for porcelain.

I’m really glad to have my little mobility scooter (Debmobile) as it means I can go out on Stella’s evening walks along the paved path by the river round the corner from us most nights. It’s so useful as Stella still doesn’t want to go for a walk unless both of us come when both of us are at home.

I’ve injured my gums with a sharp piece of food yesterday by accident and have 3 mouth ulcers near each other. Why are mouth ulcers so painful. I know it passes but they are ridiculously painful for what they are.

Now in bed to recover from going out and hanging out with a purring Luna cat. It was a great outing but next year we will be more prepared by bringing a picnic rug/folding chairs, a hat/umbrella, suncream & cash as no card payments (we had to leave to drive to nearest cash point & then come back).

We were at the independent local dog rescue’s fun dog show and ate sausages & cakes. We entered Stella in the prettiest bitch class but she didn’t even get 6th place (clearly she should have won 🤣). Glad to be supporting the rescue though. Stella did super well despite all the dogs there.

The good news is M&S are already selling Speckled Eggs even though it’s way to early for Easter. Unfortunately only the bigger pack, usually I get the smaller pack as I can’t stop eating them once start. The bad news is the speckled eggs are all gone already.

She’s back and the dog boarders have said they’ll happily take her again phew. She was very sweet and slept on their bed and being her Velcro self (understandably) She’s very tired now
