I don't think streaming long and story heavy games is a great idea. Unless the story is kind of mid and you don;t care for it, but it's difficult to predict. If I emotionally really care about a story, I don't really want to share it on stream. I tend to keep the important stuff to myself.

Turns out COSMIC, the environment of Pop_OS, is a stuttery mess. The version of Wayland it uses is less that optimal. I have to distrohop again... I think KDE Plasma is the only place to be for gaming especially. And I kinda miss Fedora...

All in all, my main issue is that I'm not compatible with parasocial culture. Spending much of my time on Twitch didn't do my ability to socialize normally much good. It's a very peculiar environment. I wonder if other streamers feel that as well.

I think I will stop clinging on the idea of making friends online. I don't think it's very healthy, especially in the streaming world, which is highly competitive. It will lead to feeling even more lonely and stressed in the long run. Seeing someone IRL is different and for me, way much more needed.

So, Pop_OS! Well it's pretty good. It comes with it's own environment which is based on GNOME. I would prefer KDE Plasma but I think they did a pretty good job. Some things are still a little rough around the edges but overall it's pretty clean.

I need to reinstall a Linux distribution again. It seems whatever I install corrupts over time. And in the matter of months, random things begin to break down with no explanation and I never find how to fix them. I hope it's not my SSD just getting a little old.

There are gaps that can't be closed even if you practice. This applies to everything. That's why - nothing is even in this world.

Games are the most extreme example. The more perfect a system is, the more the main aspect centers around a player's skill.

Get it? If you wanna praise fairness, then you NEED a rule that gives both amateurs and experts a "chance to win" against the other.

Chess, Go, Shoji - the systems of these games are the MOST unequal in the world.

Feeling kinda burnt out of FFXIV lately. I want to lock in the story but I'm always side tracked by frustrating things. I want a cool glamour but I'm still at the beginning so I find nothing good enough to be kept on for a long time. Also the jobs I want to play are not suited to my carpal tunnel.

I think I just don't like finishing video games. I like the concept of forever games that don't pressure me into continuing and finishing a big story. I complain about it sometimes but actually I like just grinding and playing for the sake of it.
