Three months in I'm impressed with Octopus Agile (plus the open source home automation software Home Assistant). Last year in September I used £110 of electricity. This year under £65 🥳

Burnham speech: An astonishing moment of radicalism and commitment
It’s easy to be cynical, but it would be false. Something extraordinary is happening here.

This week's Moral Maze on Radio 4 is about whether Ed Sheeran is obliged to have a public opinion. Far be it from me, but i feel like if you can cover it in an SNL cold open, it's not a maze.

On Ed Sheeran, fundamentally there is a principle here which applies to any viewpoint. A stadium owner discriminated between performers based on the legal expression of their political views. Continuing to perform at those stadiums signals tacit support for that behaviour.

Firefox remains an excellent browser & using Firefox supports diversity of browsers on the internet. Unlike Edge, Brave, Opera, & Vivaldi, which run on Google's Chromium/Blink engine, Firefox runs on its own independent Gecko engine. Safari uses its own WebKit engine, but it is proprietary.

Didn't even know there was a gender stereotype when it came to having a cat. Cat "dad" is a bit <hmm> though - the relationship is very much not parent/child. More like master or mistress (my cat) and servant (me).
