Which fun fact but this is also an early Integrity Toys doll! I believe Mikelman also worked with other manufacturers too but many of his dolls were produced by IT, very different from what they're doing these days!

Mikelman was an early designer/brand in the adult collector doll scene back in the 90s. His 'Candi' doll line is much more prolific but there was a period of time when his girl was named Charisse. There's not really a big difference between her and Candi. #dollcollecting #dollcollection #mikelman

One of the more obscure dolls in my collection is Rosa from a 2007 Canadian doll line called Mixis by YNU. The brand was focused on presenting characters of mixed ethnic backgrounds you don't often see in toys. Rosa is Jewish Latina. #dollcollection #dollcollecting #YNUmixis

Yes, from what I've heard some of the original musicians are fighting for royalties on use of the music they did for Jem, which I wish them the best with that but since the matter is still up in the air they recorded a new version with a new vocalist and slightly different arrangement.

A couple years ago I posted this fake "unused model cel" as an April Fools prank. I did very openly confirm it was fake and I had made it for fun, just thought it'd be a fun joke just to be sure not to actually spread misinformation, but it was a lot of fun seeing my friends get excited for a moment

I was lucky to get most of my Spectra collection about 6 years ago when they were still pretty cheap. I only paid $5-$10 for most the dolls I have (Stylablue was the only pricey one) and I even got some mib outfits for $15. Crazy how doll prices shot up last few years.
