I just finished Daniel DiManna's G-Cinema. Excellent book. Delves into the history of the franchise, addresses each film and sets it place not just in the series, but also what was happening to make it that way. If you're interested in Godzilla, this is worth your time.

Shiro was most snuggly boy. He was patient, happy to be near you, and purred like an outboard motor. He saw me through the death of my father and my mother. He was always there, whether my day was good or bad, he was happy to jump up on me and start purring. I miss him so much already.

I like letting authors know when I enjoyed their books. @writervh.bsky.social 's DEATHWORLDER is a cracking tale. Excellent characters, well realized, and a great view of a tyranid invasion. Tense throughout, with good action scenes and a real creeping horror. Great read.

I love LILO AND STITCH, but I definitely won't be seeing the remake. CG is great and all, but the watercolor backgrounds of the original are so beautiful and full of light. The art required you to invest something in the film.
