St Luke's Church in #Cork is quite the venue for live music. Tallest Man on Earth coming on soon and we couldn't be more excited.

Looking again it was perhaps just the reflection on the surface that I was seeing. Add not a gravel bed. You can see great flows coming out of the back of what was at the Beamish site at the time. Beamish perhaps given they established in 1792

I thought it was looking south to Clarke bridge. The river bed looked quite dry in the photo. Any insight into what time of the year that one was taken?

Heartbroken with the news of this legend Glen Hansard passing away too young. The first time I saw him was in the #Cork institution the lobby bar and I was hooked ever since. So many gigs in so many cities. May he rest in peace

Check out this chunky bumble bee. The rich orange color of the butt doesn't really show in the video. I was glad to guide it out the window ASAP. I haven't seen one with this size and colour before in #Cork

I found a new use for AI. I was in a hotel last night trying to watch a world cup game and the colour balance on the tv was terrible. I can never navigate the help menus or remotes (too many buttons) so I just took a photo of it and asked Gemini what button to press. Very quick fix.

Here's what I was tracking for the first 30 minutes or so but it ended even at half time if I recall correctly. The dodgy box at the pub dropped it's connection so I couldn't track it after that

I only saw the first half but they were doing fine. Great possession for 70% of the time (I guess that's the forward backwards part you mention), winning a greater percentage of kickouts, and scoring off that now than Mayo but too many wides.

Do you have any idea why the outcome of Kerry vs Cork in the munster final this weekend doesn't affect who they play in the next round?

This is awful. Here in #Cork you can go through a quick safety training and get out of hours library access from the early morning to late evening, well after staff are done for the day. It is packed with students preparing for exams.

The bus driver took a wrong turn at one point and had to reverse into a farmyard to turn the bus around. Fortunately there were no tractors there, so there was plenty of space to make the manoeuver 😂

The bus from Dublin to Cork, that has to avoid the motorway, is very retro and much more scenic. I've added a few villages to my list of places to visit for a Sunday lunch but that'll have to wait

Cork v Galway ... Great scoring to bring Cork back to within 1 by half time. Plenty of yellow cards flying. More great hurling to come in the second half. Lively finish to the half.

Lovely video. I went on a Teagasc Farm walk last week and Michelle and Tim from the National Biodiversity Data Centre were there, talking about pollinators, solitary bees, bumble bees, moths and more. So many kinds of bumble bees here - 21 per the poster I picked up. biodiversityireland.ie
