Lost in the chaos of everything; last week CDC (yes, this current CDC!) issued guidance for COVID vaccination. Last year they recommended vaccination based on "shared decision making." This year it's a stronger recommendation: "COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for all adults ages 18 years and older"

At a glance

Two types of COVID-19 vaccines are recommended for use in the United States: mRNA vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech) and a protein subunit vaccine (Novavax; now manufactured by Sanofi US Inc).
A 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for all adults ages 18 years and older.

Edward Hopper's 'Nighthawks', but the man and woman at the counter of the diner are now Fozzie and Miss Piggy. The guy with his back to us is now Bert, but Bert is being operated by Frank Oz, who is crouched down in front of the counter.
