New day diffrent hospial. Currently enroute to Stepping hill were Ambers ortopedic team are based to try and see whats going on with her knee 🤞

A further 2 care homes owned by Blue Ribbon Healthcare Group have had their quality ratings suspended by the CQC. It comes after we uncovered multiple allegations of abuse and neglect at the care company. 4 Blue Ribbon homes are now under investigation. www.itv.com/news/2026-08...

2/2 nearly 3 hours to see a nurse practioner who didnt have a bloody clue. Not her fault but totally poor care. Apparently there wasent an orthopedic surgon in Salford royal A & E who could come and access Amber.

A & E today with Amber. I dispair despite me explaining over & over again that she has a complex dislocation of her right patella but it was causing her pain and you could see way it was sublaxing was totally different to normal, plue her other disabilties sent to the minor injuries unit, waited 1/2

Why is everything so bloody difficult hours getting hold of stepping hill hospital.. Finding someone to fix the wheelchair and amber may need go to A & E Happy Monday!

Agree i always struggled with bits of the story. My Amber had delayed learning and speach. She did catch up remarkbly to get a gcse's and a btech but still needs considerible levels of support.

Amber's wheelchair need significant repairs so she can continue to usr it safely. It hers not NHS and she dosent qualify for nhs funding or equipments support. That meets her needs a disabled young person.

Last year Steph was finally rehoused in a permanent, accessible newbuild council flat - which then proved to be riddled with faults, including the only lift regularly breaking down. She's now had to be moved into a hotel. More here: www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
