I may go down the MCP route for GA4, Google publishes a GA4 MCP server on GitHub. Nothing for GSC as yet. Right now I have to admit I'm having a renewed relationship with Clarity as well which also has @microsoft/clarity-mcp-server on npm. Source at github.com/microsoft/clarity-mcp-server

I started as a web designer December 28th 1996 and I get what @seldo.com means that "you had to be there". The current AI trend does not feel like so much a bubble to me, more like something that will evolve, adapt and survive. That said, the potential for it to be used for evil is worryingly high.

I used lowsrc extensively back in the day, even for transitions e.g. from architectural drawings to photographs of the finished buildings. I've been asking forever why we don't still use it. And isn't it beautiful that we have all grown old in this weird and wonderful industry.

Completely revolutionised the way I write layouts, especially for content management systems that provide block editors to users. I still use flexbox as well and wish more people understood they both have their place.

As for withdrawal symptoms, they are horrible and continue for a long time. I think the worst was very vivid nightmares which took months to go away.

Tried and failed 'tapering' for 10 years. Eventually caved and took a friends advice for hypnotherapy as it worked for them. I was exceptionally sceptical but it worked for me too. I stopped completely overnight and never waivered since. Problem with cutting down is one now and again is not quitting
