1) Cameras come and cameras go in the fickle Forbes fotosphere. I fell in love with the rented Ricoh GRIV Monochrome and bought one today from my local camera store. On the other hand, I never bonded with the Leica Q3 43 like I had with my Fujis. It's been sent off to MPB.

Image from my first brief outing with the rented Ricoh GR4 Monochrome. This 2CV belongs to a hardware store in my neighborhood. Image cropped a bit; used the Monochrome Soft RAW preset, made a few other adjustments. The camera is a fun to use; tiny and discrete. #photography #blackandwhite

Cover my eyes. Candid street moment in Nice. We're off to Paris tomorrow for 12 days to look at apartments & neighborhoods with a goal of moving there this fall. We're scheduled to meet @tomnorthfilm.bsky.social and his wife, which will be fun. I'm renting a Ricoh GR IV Monochrome to try out.

Friday was the 82nd anniversary of the liberation of Nice by the resistance. A collection of WW2 vehicles with some re-enactors was on display at Place Massena. It was fun to walk around, take some photos and talk with some of the folks. #photography #Leica #blackandwhite #France
