Probably. Cats generally do like to be up high to keep an eye on surroundings.

It may have to do with Brownie being around too. He was asleep in the unheated house I got for him, but Shorty's not normally intimidated by him.

I dunno. It was 37° this morning and Shorty was just on the chair. He used to always go in one of the houses.

Right? Talarico seems to be spending a lot on ads on YT asking for money, too. I'm not even in Sherrod's state, or Mark Kelly, or Mary Peltola. I know they don't care where the money comes from.

Was going to buy new fleece covers for the heating pads in the heated cat houses, but they're over $18/ea now on Amazon 😬 I can get a yard of the faux sherpa fleece for $12 and make them myself. The cats have quit using the houses. I'm thinking the old covers are too worn or smelly.

Trying to decide if I feel well enough to drive for UE today. Been fighting some low-grade malady for a week & a half now. I haven't been out driving since ... Oct 1? I think.

Switched the weather app to get data from MET Norway. No snow forecast! LOL

D. D. Syrdal @ddsyrdal.bsky.social · 1h

I thought if anywhere would see snow it would be more out in your area. Somebody needs to recalibrate their systems.

Still insisting it's snowing. Blue skies would argue with that.

Weather app is nuts. It says it's snowing, but skies are clear and the sun is rising.

I've had the heat on quite a bit already, but my house tends to stay cool. Let me know if you see any snow where you are. I really don't think I'll see any at my place.

Yes! They're not predicting any kind of accumulation so I'm thinking maybe in the higher hills around Portland they might see a few flakes coming down but I doubt it will be anything more than that.

010

D. D. Syrdal @ddsyrdal.bsky.social · 21h

I can't believe anyone anywhere in the area will see more than a flake or two.

If anyone sees any flurries, it would only be up in the Portland hills. I'm only about 200' above sea level so I'm sure there won't be any at my house.
