One of the things I found incredible slow in the Kotlin Multiplatform is about iOS - How can it take SO long to build? - Debugging also takes forever - In general the build takes like 3 thousand years

Numbers like these show time and again, that a little work on the right thing goes a very long way. @marianeum.bsky.social was very quick to update Monzo's R8 configuration and made the app much more performant along the way. ⚡️

The new agent in Android Studio is enabled in yesterday's canary build! This build doesn't have all the tools hooked up that I showed in the I/O demo last week (agent here: youtu.be/KXKP2tDPW4Y?...), such as the Gradle awareness -- and it also doesn't have the Upgrade Agent yet. Hopefully soon!
