It’s so hard watching our beloved pets age and go through an illness. I’m sorry. This little guy is the last of our four pups. He’s 12. He had a follow up at the vet today and needed vaccines. We lost our longest companion (she was almost 17) in Jan 2025, and we all still miss her so much.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa: Have you seen this missing black/white/tan long-haired chihuahua boy? Goes by his full name, Berry Manilow. The owner has a $325 reward. There have been sightings of him near Hilltop Kennels and Solar Park. I’ve never been so invested in seeing a missing pup be found. 🫶🏽

Since my incision healed, digestion normalized, and lift restriction is over, I’ve been able to consume more food and started at the gym. On GLP-1 for T2D, I struggle to feel hungry or crave anything. So, I focus on fiber and protein. Along with whole foods, these to little snack finds have helped.

Built Bar’s Sour Puff Green Apple Crush (the Peach one is even better IMO) and That’s It Fiber Mini Fruit Bar Apple and Berries (there’s also an apple with cinnamon bar)

Our golden was bigger than average. He grew up with two mini dachshunds and a chihuahua), so thought he too was their size. Knocked over stuff constantly, and definitely overpowered many a lap. I sure miss that big beautiful boy!

Lettuce is very easy to grow in containers on a small deck. It grows fast! I did that last summer and was harvesting frequently. This summer I’m recovering from a big abdominal surgery, so pushed pause on my container garden.

Our guy is a mini dachshund mixed with pom. He’s nearly 12 and just the sweetest little guy. The red color picture was when he was a puppy, and the blanket one is recent (he loves riding in the car in his seat and being cozy).

We got a 2 yr old dog from a trailer park in DeSmet, SD. When we first got her she’d cower and run into her small kennel (it came with her) if one of us picked up any item like a backscratcher. She eventually realized we were safe. We had 15 great yrs w/her. She passed 1/25/25.
