Meet my latest game idea: Memaw's Cookie Jar So far play tests have gone fantastic! It's not a kid's game, but my 5 & 6 year old both really like it (probably in part because of the toy cookies). And yes, that is a Pringles can substituting for a cookie jar. :) #boardgamedesign

Tried a new game idea with the kids yesterday. It was a weird middle ground between adult game and kids game that ended up not being great for either. The kids loved it anyway! They've never spent as much time playtesting a design as they did with this one. #boardgamedesign

The whole family watch My Neighbor Totoro last night. It was our first Ghibli film. The kids loved it! My wife really enjoyed it to which I was concerned about. A big hit all around!

Came up with another kinda interesting #puzzle! GOAL Connect all boxes into a single group by drawing lines between them. RULES 1. The number on each box shows how many lines connect to it. 2. Lines cannot go diagonal.

Continuing my streak of indecision- what do you think of this alternate name for Tranquil Sky? 'Starlight Canvas' is easier to say (and possibly remember?). It also hints at the 'creating' part of the game. But I'm not sure it captures the overall feel as well... #boardgamedesign
