David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Think this is the one currently visiting in Philly. If it is, the blue background is sublime in real life. 010
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Yeah. I scheduled the day tomorrow for exploration. 000
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Heading to Asheville today. My first time and looking forward to it. Thought I forgot my headphones and spent 5 minutes in front of the iStore deciding if I should spend $250 on a new pair. Thank god I decided that was way too much and walked away because I did bring them 😂. 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The whole bench would probably be current players, TBF. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026All good. For me it’s Richards and Robinson. And then it’s maybe a 3rd midfielder with Claudio and JOB, but Ernie Stewart was good so tough to drop. Bease and LD were fire that year and they’ve never replaced McBride. Pope was class and Sanneh was a unit. Goose and Berhalter were wank. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026No doubt the pool is deeper, but not sure how many of our current starters would get in the 2002 side. It’s not much more than 3 or 4 and they are all pretty much defenders. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I’m not sure the talent is actually much better than 25 years ago. Maybe a bit deeper, but the level of the best players isn’t really higher. 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I’m sure he could, but he’s one player. You need like 10 at that level to be anywhere close to winning a WC. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026But that's just it, Adams is as good a midfielder the US has produced, but where is he currenly on the list of midfielders in the world, maybe top 50? Same for all the best players the US has produced. They are mostly pretty average and a few are/have been very good, but they beat Mexico and hype. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026He's not going to be representing anyone for much longer if he keeps playing every game. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Yeah Klopp is on to something of course. I don't mind the international break, I don't pay much attention to it, but just don't want players playing 4 games in the window if they are playing a lot for their club. Don't love that VVD agreed to do it. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Yeah, seems so. Its also why I generally ignore any USMNT discussion or hype machine. Talk to me when there are starters at each of LFC, RM, Bayern, and Barca. 100
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I think the longer break is good, but they should limit to total number of minutes a player can play. They shouldn’t be allowed to play 4 90s in 12 days. www.bbc.com/sport/footba...bbc.comPlayer welfare, injury worries & boredom - has extended international break worked? The extended international break was brought in with player welfare in mind, but has it been a success? 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 05/10/2026No idea if Sullivan is the real deal or not, but USMNT fans and media probably should stop hyping US players based on what they do in MLS and against CONCACAF teams. 120
Reposted by David ClouserThe Map Center @mapcenter.com · 05/10/2026Strategically located between the Delaware and Schuykill Rivers, Philadelphia has immense resource advantages in access to the Atlantic and the Interior. Were all human knowledge lost, we would never replicate language or culture but we would probably reinvent math, science and Philadelphia. 4446
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Hard to have sympathy for anyone who chooses to be associated with City. Their cheating has been an open secret since they joined so to claim ignorance doesn’t hold much water. 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 02/10/2026The players would have to be thick not to know this was the likely outcome. 210
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 02/10/2026More evidence UAE needs its relationship with the UK far more than the UK needs UAE and any economic threats used to minimize the sanctions against City should be laughed at. 020
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 02/10/2026If it’s led by City, not sure if other PL clubs would be rushing to get involved which means it probably won’t go anywhere. 010
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Yeah, bit early to drawing any conclusions, but its international break and need something else to talk about other than City. 000
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Maybe the UK, the 5th richest country in the world should just make investments in itself. 040
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Virg should have at least taken a break from internationals. Let them miss him and save his legs, but instead he's going to play 4 extra games and deal with press who want him out of the team. 000
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 30/09/2026From what I observed, most of Greek life is simply an incubator for rich kids to develop their worst traits without consequence and it would be no loss if it all went away. 020
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I’m a former DU brother from PSU, so my house is currently in the news. We were a bunch of nerds back then, but other than having a great place to party, there has been no benefit at all from having joined. 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 30/09/2026This Cornell business is grim. I don’t think it’s a bad thing that colleges generally keep the cops out of minor infractions like underage drinking, but holy shit, not calling the cops about a gang rape is inexcusable and I hope everyone involved in that decision pays a steep price. 150
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 30/09/2026lol. That’s a lot of permits under his authority. 010

David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Said this the other day. The idea the PL needs City is farcical. They need Liverpool and Utd. Everyone else are just the clubs those 2 compete against. 010
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Fees paid for their players in 26 money is pretty outrageous. 010
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Nothing suggests this stopped in 2018. These numbers probably continued to rise year on year since then adding on another 1B of fraudulent revenue. 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 29/09/2026There's no doubt they'd have a case and I'm sure they are happy to have the threat of it out there, but suspect they stop short of actually going through with it as we are talking about the governmental leaders of UAE. 000
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Not sure it gets to that point, but they probably will be forced to end up selling and portion of proceeds are used to payout damages to other clubs. 210
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Considering the wider ramifications of the City fraud, I wonder if the announcement has come now because UAE isn’t exactly in a position to push away the UK as an ally and the diplomatic fallout will be minimal. 110

David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 29/09/2026The only people associated with City who deserve any ounce of sympathy are those who were fans before the takeover. Everyone else, players, coaches, staff, and new fans, knew exactly what they were signing up for. It was obvious from the beginning they were cheating. 140

David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Seems a bit of a bull in China shop right now, imo. Early developer physically who didn’t need to develop any nuance to his game to be successful at youth level and has struggled to establish himself at higher levels. Still has time, but he’s a 5’ 7” CF and is poor defensively. 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I'm much less enthusiatic on Endrick from what I've seen of him, but statos seem like him. 110
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Other issue I have is my wife has a pretty bland meat and potatos palete. She a supertaster so no cilantro, or spice, mushrooms, seafood, etc. Anything good really. My girls are on the curry train, so we do enjoy when she's working evenings and we can have what we want. 010
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I think Virg and Kerkez deserve credit for keeping him quiet. I'd love to have him, but fear people would expect him to be putting up Salah numbers, especially at mooted fees. He'd have fine numbers, but its always being in the right place and making the right decision I like most. And he's a unit. 120
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 22/09/2026For sure. Its the shopping to have the right ingredients is where I consistently fall down in my efforts😂 110

David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 22/09/2026True. David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I would argue it’s better to acknowledge the existence of last season and accept we finished the season with a squad that performed at a level not seen since Rodgers’s last full season. Was also going to take time to rebuild after that. 000
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Think you nailed it that Wirtz is trying to much end of move stuff and not focusing on the little things. His moments will come if he’s confidently doing the little things well. 030
David Clouser @dcclouser.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Hard to say that it hasn’t at least defensively. Not suggesting it’s perfect by any means, but we’ve barely given away any big chances in the last 5 games and some credit should go to the midfield for that. 100
