I don't *regret* getting a full year's subscription, but once it's up I intend to look for something different. The meditations are one-size-fits-all, which makes sense for an app that big, but Tamara sounds like she's selling medigap insurance at times, and the commercial tone takes me out of it.

68 consecutive days of using Calm. I like it, but mostly for the follow-up exercises. I spend about an hour daily answering the prompt associated with that day's meditation, and then the daily check-in journal. I've done over 100 each now.

I took an apple empanada. It was large and delicious. After I left, I realized I had three of them, but there was no sense of guilt or like I had taken more than my share. That's the third thematic dream along these lines I've had over the past weeks. Very interesting.

As we are going through the maze-like system, we enter a large room filled with people gathered for a pot-luck celebration, except everything is homemade and sweet, like pastries or petit fours. One of the people told me I was welcome there and could have whatever I like.

I had another interesting thematic dream. I was navigating a series of vague, liminal buildings that were like academic or business campuses, amid a vague sense of threat. I can't remember what the source was, but I was accompanied by a couple others I also don't recall.

I'm not really good at the creative stuff I've been doing. The point is to enjoy the experience and not care about failing, but sometimes I think about what I'm doing and feel bad for not being better. Who am I competing with? Just keep going. Skill comes with practice, and it's beside the point.

I'm grateful. I have my depressed days, but I'm doing really well with everything. My days are full. I need to work on socializing and reach out better, but generally I'm content. I like who I am working to be. I am grateful for the freedom to challenge myself in so many ways, dormant and new.

She's one of the bright spots in my life. I think back to five years ago, and life felt so much richer. I had my parents, I had friends, I had a social life, none of what's happened had happened. Willow has been with me through some hard years, and I am so grateful for her. I don't want to lose her.

I stopped getting out of home like I was. I want to, but by the time the sun is out, my energy is done for the day. Death has been on my mind a lot, about my parents, myself, friends, Willow. I should not grieve the living, but sometimes I pet Willow and know she won't be here in a few years.

Still struggling pretty rough this week. I don't know why things sank so low. I have been doing a lot of personal heavy lifting, and I continue to maintain my routine, including things I've kept private. The seasons changing affect me. I feel profoundly lonesome. I'll keep trying, of course.
