All the AI companies acting surprised their systems did things without asking for authorization. Almost as if the companies have never actually USED their own AI systems #AI #Anthropic #OpenAI #cybersecurity #hacking #Google

All you have to do is give Google money each month and they will make sure nothing happens to your stuff. After all, you got a lotta nice stuff around here. Would be a shame if something happened to it. Capice?

Every time I go there I make sure to fine a view, an angle, a corner, something spot I haven't notice before and take a picture. I have dozens.

Did they care that much when it happened to artists? or musicians? or call centers? or etc etc

I tend to that's only because other people are playing the game, not because the game and it's npc's are baking bread and doing raids The raids never change unless a PERSON changes it

I have taken to explaining it as akin to a video game. When you hit save, it stops. If you come back 5 months later the game world is still there, unchanged, frozen, exactly as you left it. Nothing has changed because the game doesn't move without YOU, without YOU giving it direction

Shinagawan is the mascot dog for cable TV in Shinagawa, Tokyo. His hobbies are watching TV and walking on two legs.

A yellow dog mascot with raised eyebrows, blue ears, and green arms stands on a stage.

once you don't have a 'real' place to live, meaning an address recognized as 'residential', everything in society fights you from making your life better. Car insurance, mail delivery, bank loans, internet service, all that stuff you take for granted becomes so much harder #homeless

I've seen people switching to MapQuest to get away from Google Maps, and while I love the sentiment, WOW MapQuest is WILDLY inaccurate. Stuff not EVEN CLOSE to its actual location, and major buildings not listed. And no good way to give corrections #mapquest #googlemaps

Zombear is a zombie bear mascot from Otaru, in Hokkaido, who swings his intestines around.

Standing on a stage, a blue bear mascot with a tongue hanging out of its bloody mouth holds a string of intestines.

As always, you have to start with a plan, or you're just throwing spaghetti at the wall. And then you have to clean the spaghetti off the floor. And the wall. And then you have to cook dinner again.

You ever been on the edge of something potentially huge, driven by someone else who's trusting you to keep up and do the job they need you to do and, honestly, it's worrying because you're not sure you're ready for it? but fuck it, let's go anyway

Hasbro, forgot what it was and failed, bought a gaming behemoth (WotC and D&D) which saved them, then misunderstands their saviors and proceeds to kill those saviors Table-top RPG's aren't about the game. They're about community. Players can make their own game #gaming #ttrpgs #mtg #roles
