Lots of soccer Dawgs getting called up to represent nationally in U-18 U-20 teams. Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Folliard invited to U-18 training camp for the USWNT. Started all 21 games as a freshman last year.

As per CBS, former UGA defensive back Maurice Smith will be a defensive analyst for the Dawgs in 2026. Smith was one of the first players to take advantage of (new at the time) immediate grad transfer rules, following Kirby Smart after graduating from Alabama in 2016.

In college, I delivered pizza from the Johnny's on the east side. The funniest thing that ever happened: My least favorite coworker, just a lazy jerk, delivered a $600 order to Auburn's men's basketball team and got tipped $0. We won that game and it was my perfect petty lose-lose win-win.

I roll my eyes when I see women's hoops rocking the Power G on the shorts because as a student assistant I suggested we incorporate the Power G on the shorts as a unifying athletics-wide symbol in addition to the script Lady Dawgs G. I was essentially told to sit down and shut up. Now they do it.
