I have one main litmus test for candidates and it's: does the rule of law apply to the powerful? International law applies to the US/Israel too. Rich people go to jail too. Politicians who broke the law: same. Consequences are the main failure of Biden & how we stay out of this mess the next time.

I see the city organizing volunteer trash cleanup days and I just wonder, why don’t we have staff whose job it is? and why can’t we get more street trees while we’re at it? where is even the public organizing for these kinds of things?
