Huge shocker that will break the universe if uttered: Both Bluesky and X are good.

Your customers aren't buying your product. They’re buying the version of themselves they become after using it. The difference between a business that survives and one that scales isn't a bigger ad budget. It’s clarity. Your branding next step is this: strive to be memorable on purpose.

@nilleb.io I saw you fork my Obsidian plugin! You are clearly more of an experienced developer than I so if you're making improvements, please do a pull request and I'll incorporate whatever you recommend. Cheers!

Microsoft community: send me anything and everything you have on Metro UI. I have some materials and have interviewed some folks already, and now I really want to get the ball rolling on this Microsoft Design Language documentary I've been talking about doing for awhile. Repost please!

BlueSky reminds me of Tumblr. Compelling platform with interesting ideas, but taken over by absolute lunatics.

DK on his Kongputer™ A very old piece, I spent quite a while recreating the old 90s DKC render style back in the day 🍌 #3dArt #FanArt #DonkeyKong #B3d

A 3d render reminiscent of the old 90s donkey kong country promotional renders. Donkey Kong is sitting in the center of his treehouse. He is pointing at a computer which seems to have the old paws inc ( GARFIELD!!!) website on the screen! Donkey Kong is surrounded by all sorts of items from his games, old and new. A stack of bananas on the left, a rareware sign on the wall, some tires and a barrel on the right. On top of the barrel is a boombox and a photo on the wall of Cranky Kong from the OG donkey kong arcade game. Outside the sun is setting amongst the jungle palm trees.

Heads up on new YouTube content on the main channel in the short term. This doesn't preclude a Bonus channel video or two, though!

YouTube post by David V. Kimball with the text: "Hi everyone, my son is expected to be born within the next 30 days or so, which might lead to delays in videos for a while. I just want to say, thank you very watching my videos and leaving comments and sharing and all of that. I check the notifications and try to reply to everything. Each of you are awesome!" How am I supposed to treat BlueSky vs. Twitter? Post the exact same content? Cater my posts for each platform?

If anyone wants a custom BlueSky handle, like "@david.melee.tv" I can get you one.

Our Windows Insider Program 10 year anniversary wallpaper is live! I hope you like it 😊 Aka.ms/wip10light Aka.ms/wip10dark #WindowsInsiders

The wallpaper is a little hard to describe - it has a collection elements of older windows versions, including the taskbar, calendar pop up, picking a wallpaper (the wallpaper in the picker is the windows 11 bloom wallpaper), clippy, and more

The web was built on links. Now, best practice is avoiding posting links because your social media posts will be penalized. Super backwards. Hope this trend is reversed eventually.

We need to do a hard reset on how health insurance works in the US. Connecting it to employment makes 0 sense. We need to completely roll back the so-called "Affordable Health Care" act. It's done precisely the opposite of driving costs down for health insurance. Should be market-driven only.

I like video games. But I don't play many video games now. When I'm done working at my day job (and mostly mentally spent), all I want to do is work on fun personal projects?! It's how I unwind now I guess. I hardly ever touch the controller anymore. It's weird.
