David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Miles Davis’s Time After Time just popped on my shuffle. It always makes me teary. We saw him at Roseland Theatre in #Portland. And it was a spiritual experience. 021
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Funny story. While I still work in PDX, we moved to Santa Cruz a few years ago. While I think it’s a lovely and remarkable bird, it’s not news when it shows up in our garden now. 101

David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 22/09/2026This is how we do it in the post-common era. They say that the gates are still open. So it’s all good. 010
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Yeah. No. Seems like you’re overstating and don’t need to. As others point out, you will likely trigger oppositional thinking. Indirect suggestion—what you don’t say—is far more persuasive. 000
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Who knew that you were responsible for the resurgence of American Nazis? If only you had written under the name Biff or Chad, the Republican Party wouldn’t be where it is today. This totally checks out. 010
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Another loss. This one hits hard. Four generations of my family are alumni. Longhorn nation is disgusted. 152

David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Also, a seemingly gracious take that it’s not your fault. The latter seemed to come from a place of resignation and also a recognition of history, mixed in with a self-satisfied gentle swipe at American exceptionalism. 4// 010
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Mostly, it was welcome to being a human—our country has been through this before and survived. And you will, too. 3/4 101

David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I was fortunate to take vacation in Greece. We visited with locals and also met many other travelers from other countries. (Fewer Amercians, interestingly.) In any extended conversations with people from other countries, we invariably hit “the situation” with TFG. 1/4 120

Reposted by David SugermanSenator Ron Wyden @wyden.senate.gov · 04/08/2026One more interesting point: this spring I sat down with Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes for an extensive interview about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media has unquestionably aided the Trump administration’s cover up here. 7543161867

David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Literally zero COVID deaths in Oregon prisons after the vaccine rolled out. So yeah. I ain’t no doctor with degrees, but it don’t take too much IQ to see That COVID vaccines were and are a lifesaver. Thank you Dr Fauci. May your critics fuck right off and get all the diseases they deserve. 061
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 01/08/2026We succeeded in obtaining an injunction that required the State to put incarcerated people on equal footing with vulnerable populations. COVID had ravaged Oregon prisons, and incarcerated adults flocked to get vaccinated. After the vaccine rolled out, the COVID death rate plunged to zero. 3/ 130
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 01/08/2026When vaccines became available, the State chose to put incarcerated adults far back in line. Between May of 2020 and January of 2021, at least 38 incarcerated adults had died from COVID. 2/ 130
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 01/08/2026The attack on Dr. Fauci and COVID vaccines are ahistorical. Here is an anecdote about vaccine efficacy. During the pandemic, I served as lead counsel in a civil rights class action for people incarcerated in Oregon prisons. We sought to protect incarcerated adults from COVID. 1/ 152
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 31/07/2026From the outside, I didn’t love it. But once inside, it made far more sense, and it works. The site is spectacular, and the center as a whole is brilliant 000
David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I made it to the Obama presidential library today. It’s joyful place filled with bright, loving people. It was thrilling to relive the time of hope. David Sugerman @davidsug.bsky.social · 30/07/2026I wonder how “Fauci Takes the 5th” is landing with non-lawyers, specifically those who are non MAGA? Does it mean anything, or is it met with a shrug? 000
