Just picked up a copy of Paul Weller Dancing Through the Fire, an oral history written with his involvement by Dan Jennings. About 3/4 of the way through it, definitely recommend it. Lots of people participated.

People are claiming that Elon Musk messed with Starlink in Ukraine because Trump asked him. I think a more likely reason is that Ukraine damaging Russian data centers embarrassed Elon by showing how many of his Twitter followers are nonexistent and how much traffic on Twitter is driven by bots.

Here’s another #fridgemagnet. Before the NYC subways became one municipal system, they were independently operated, and what are now the numbered trains (1 through 7) were the Interborough Rapid Transit trains, or IRT. Probably purchased this at the Transit Museum in Brooklyn.
