I think it is an apprehended genocide but it doesn't matter much to me whether someone uses the word or not. That said, I think Bosnia was a genocide even though most Bosniaks survived and Sarajevo even had a baby boom during the siege.

Canada spent the bettere part of 30 years debating its constitution (1965-1995). Like banging your head against the wall, it felt so good when it stopped.

Actually, having the support of 1 in 3 voters after everything he has done is pretty remarkable and suggests those most committed to his side of the culture war are both committed and relatively numerous.

We are a broken nation. Hundreds of thousands of Haitians were living and working legally, paying taxes, and contributing. Haiti remains wholly unsafe. But Trump hates Haitians, and the White House wanted videos of Black people in chains, so they stripped them of status and turned on the cameras.

Haiti TPS has been TERMINATED.
Those with terminated TPS are in our nation Illegally. They have two options: LEAVE IMMEDIATELY or be DEPORTED.

Underneath is a screenshot of a video showing two Haitian men in chains being led to the aircraft. I didn’t post the video, but it’s vile.

Four years ago a convoy of trucks occupied parts of Ottawa after issuing a manifesto calling to overthrow the government. This man, then an MP running for the leadership of his party, brought them doughnuts.

"People are saying" is lazy journalism. Good journalism is to state the facts and their consequences and ask for a comment: e.g., the presidency is making you rich, that is contrary to the rule of ethics for public office-holders, why are you doing it?

Also silly: churches are real, freedom of religion is a constitutional right, institutions are how we generally exercise the right.

I don't believe that buying 1x/wk vs every day makes the difference. The produce still needs to survive the trip by truck to my supermarket whether I shop once or 5x/wk and they are unloading it every day. Europeans are bigger on local food in season.
