Sure, AI companies steal ideas, creativity & expertise to monetise them on a colossal scale. And OK, they’re losing literally billions every week in this gigantic Ponzi scheme. But at least they’re also threatening to wipe out humanity as well, so let’s all try to keep some perspective here.

I've often thought about the huge destruction in Ukraine & Russia. A huge effort needed to restore land, people's lives and infrastructure but also a huge opportunity to build back better and learn a massive amount doing so.
