Good morning, everybody. We had some wicked storms yesterday. A nearby town had roofs being torn off and crashing into a building across the street! Trees down and scattered power outages. I was okay, although the catnip plant I was growing on my balcony was gone with the wind! 😆

We read to our daughter every night. As she started to read, we would alternate pages with her, helping her pronunciations. Later on, she would challenge herself with books a little beyond her level, consulting a dictionary when she came to a word she didn't know.

Happy Monday to you all! I spent most of the weekend packing up and moving boxes into my new place! Same landlord, different town, which was very convenient. The new apartment is vacant, so we could start moving right away. By the end of the month, we should just have the big stuff left to go.

Doing alright, my friend. Still in mourning for my grandniece. My niece lost her at 38 weeks, and lost a lot of blood in the process. She's still recovering, but I hope to see her when I go down to St. Louis for the funeral this weekend.
