This is the first personal piece I've done in over a year (other than a few sketches here and there). Feels weird, but nice.

Apparently it's the weekend for weird horror movies, because I watched "The Substance" on Friday and "The Neon Demon" today. I have no idea how to describe either of these movies. The only other movie that left me this speechless was "Possession". Just no words.

Just finished the writing for a project I've been working on for about 8 months: a new rather robust GMless fantasy game system. I say robust because it came in at ~52K words of text. Now on to finishing the editing, art and layout.

An eternal - a cosmic being consisting of metal-like plates twisting and spiraling around a burning core, forming a vaguely humanoid shape. It strides through a plane of crystalline hexagonal pillars, holding filiments of the clouds between its fingers.

A nightmare of isolation - a manifestation of the feelings of isolation someone has, given form. It is a humanoid creature, wrapped with dry, dessicated skin, restrained and wrapped almost entirely in fluttering, white bandages, like a mummy.

O Captain is releasing in full on July 25! That's Next Tuesday! This solo game of stories, stars, and the sea was made possible by over 250 backers on Crowdfundr, and I'm so grateful and thrilled and excited. I also have a press kit and review copies, if you're interested in that kind of thing.
