Everytime I see a post or TV ad for the new movie Whalefall, my brain wants to read it as Whalefail, like the whale fell down while drunk dancing.

I saw you and Redacted talking about this so I drafted a couple of days ago in the Letterboxd league. Check out this assortment!

This is now on Peacock so I'll be watching it soon. Out of my Letterboxd friends that have seen it, their ratings were 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 and 5 stars. THERE IS NO GROUP CONSENSUS!!

He wasn't even in contention for that. It's Kirsten Dunst. C'mon.

They better get Adam Brody on board. Also, if you haven't seen the original film, it's on Netflix. Very good watch. www.avclub.com/kid-detectiv...

I only follow a small, well-curated group of people on Letterboxd but it still surprises me when I watch a movie (and not an obscure one) that none of them have see.

Today's movie plans: finish Dick (I started feeling bad and went to bed last night in the middle of it) then Nine To Five rewatch and then maybe Backrooms which is now on HBO.

NW: Dick. First time watch! Just started and already the cast is ridiculous.

The New York Times would ruin it. A24 would be insufferable.

Looking forward to this. I loved that show. And then over the years, when they started showing up in other movies/tv shows, I would get so excited. A great many of them became legends.

There is no way he needs that many monitors. It's not even a practical set up. It's obviously just set dressing. Ridiculous.

I'm watching The Pelican Brief and there's an old man, and this is a pic of the ridiculous amount of medications he's on. As of this week, I'm on 7 different meds. I'll see if can get it up to this level. Life goals.

The last few days as I've been recovering, I've been having trouble sleeping more than about 45 minutes at a time. So I started Brooklyn 99 and just let it run constantly. Take a nap, watch Brooklyn 99. Rinse repeat. What a great comfort show.

The fun for me today was that apparently while recovering from a heart attack, you have mood swings from the trauma. Fine one minute, then a panic attack, then perfectly happy but then all of a sudden you want to cry. I was describing this and my sister in law said "so just like being a woman."
