I really didn’t care for the Blood Island films as a kid…but now I find them kind of magical! And that artwork is awesome!

Really looking forward to this!

I usually give him a bowl of walnuts, served with a side of diced apple! On hot summer days, he also got some frozen blueberries!

Like I've said before, your posts often inspire my day's viewing. It's been a few years, and I think it's time for a re-watch!

For me, two main problems…even as a boy, I knew the werewolf on the poster was from a different film. And then, if you’re going to make a werewolf film, have a werewolf. (A dog doesn’t count.) But the cast (and the music!) make up for it! It’s a film I appreciate more with every viewing!

Oh my gosh I’m so sorry. When you’re ready again, you’ll know. In the meantime, I’ll bet your friend is still there with you, watching over you. Big hug to you.

Iol but for whatever reason, I’m a fan of that title font! Looking back, it might’ve been my first “fake” sequel!

Saw this in the theater as Beyond the Door II (with co-feature It’s Alive 2!) A little confused at first, thinking it was a recast sequel…but the story quickly took over and I loved it! That jump scare towards the end is still pretty amazing!

#DogsofBluesky #HappyBirthday Happy 5th Birthday to my dearest snuggle-buddy, AJ! He’s the dearest friend a guy could have. Always by my side. His anxiety lessens with each passing day, & his love holds mine at bay as well. I’m so thankful we found each other. Happy Birthday my sweet boy! ❤️

I'm guessing my three dogs view George as a snack. Thank goodness he is VERY fast!

I worked at a very fun, but very third rate movie theater in the 70’s, my 1st job! We got Dracula in its FIRST week (which wasn’t a good sign.) Although the score is wonderful, Dracula didn’t have fangs, apparently used a blow dryer, and turned into a kite at the end. 😂

This is my friend, George. We met back in April, when I noticed him sitting on the porch outside my window. I’ve brought him a bowl of fruit and nuts each day since then, and now he waits for me. He takes walnuts from my hand, and loves to be petted. His eyes tell me all I need to know. ❤️

#DogsofBluesky When we’re all outside, I’ll sometimes do a quick visual search for my friends, just to make sure everyone’s ok! There are moments when I don’t see my AJ…but then I’ll turn around to find him standing right beside me. My sweetest shadow. My dearest little buddy. ❤️

#DogsofBluesky My big boy Beau. A wise, calming presence in our home. A truly beautiful friend. He fills my days with his friendship and love. He adores his sister Candy, and his best pal AJ. His devotion to his family is amazing. I love him with all my heart and soul. Thank you, Beau. ❤️

My beautiful Beau, watching over his yard.

Fortunately Roy had a wonderful sense of humor! ❤️

One of my dear friend Roy Brocksmith's first credits, as "Fat Jogger in Park." He laughed that although he wasn't in the final cut, he'd still get residuals. Not really a werewolf film, although marketed as one. And that practical effects decapitation! Wow!

I just watched this again. Hysterical that the sense of urgency from the first film has been replaced by the cast taking multiple rest breaks. 😂
