#DogsofBluesky When i wake up with paws in my face, I'm reminded of how far AJ & I have come together. He's still the most anxious boy, but I take great pride in his ability to relax next to me. His gentle snoring let's me know he feels safe. Always tell your friends how much you love them. ❤️

My 1st horror film in a theater. I was 7. A few years ago, I was in that area for a funeral. While speaking with my Uncle, he told me that theater was still there! On my way home, I stopped and took a pic…the place was so much bigger in my memory! (That afternoon in ‘69 made a huge impact on me!)

This is my friend, George. We met back in April, when I noticed him sitting on the porch outside my window. I’ve brought him a bowl of fruit and nuts each day since then, and now he waits for me. He takes walnuts from my hand, and loves to be petted. His eyes tell me all I need to know. ❤️

My best “monster friend” Scott and I saw this in 1974. It had a different ad campaign, and disappeared quickly, but we thought it was amazing! It wasn’t until 1977 that it reappeared, rereleased with that new poster, and it was a big hit!

Every morning I feed my little pal on our porch. A little apple, a couple frozen blueberries, & some walnuts. He’s usually waiting for me, and now takes food from my hand, filling his cheeks and excitedly running back for more! We’ve been friends now for months! ❤️

My 1st exposure to this film was this Alan Frank book I’ve had since my teen years! Finally saw it upon its dvd release. It has a certain quality, even with a lack of any likeable characters. (Although Constable Craig seemed pretty cool!) Certainly one of the earliest “flesh eating” zombie films!

Haven’t seen this one in years, but rewatched yesterday because of your post! Another great 70’s flick with a downbeat “no one survives” ending! I guess when released in the US, zombies weren’t yet a big selling point, so we were told “Don’t Open the Window”. 😂
