Finally getting back to some game dev. Pretty happy with how this enemy design came out. In engine, I've already added particle effects to make it a flaming skull (hence the orange eyes).

Card Game Engine updates will continue until moral improves. v2.1 has been merged into main with the following additions: - Replaced playable glow effect with particles - Added CardView subclass - CardView added to Deck and Discard for viewing the zone's contents #Godot #MadeWithGodot #IndieDev

I've made some pretty major updates to Card Game Engine including: - Animation overhaul (Reworked how tweens are deployed and added additional animations) - Stack for resolving cards - Drag and drop playing of cards (w/ glow to indicate playable area) #Godot #madewithgodot #GameDev

Too relatable. Went through a lot of depressive episodes before my diagnosis due to feeling like a failure after losing the structure of high school / college and struggling through early adult life.

It was the very cliche gifted-kid curse of overachieving in a smaller, easier environment, and then slowly succumbing to burnout and ego death as I navigated my much harder, more complicated adult life with a disability I didn’t know I had. I didn’t really like or know myself outside of achievement, and failing to “make something of myself” in my 20s and 30s felt like a waste of my “potential.”

The easiest way that I was able to input it correctly was by inputting the lower line as a second voice (voice 1 is in blue, voice 2 is in green) Here's there documentation on writing with multiple voices: musescore.org/en/handbook/...
