I used to amuse myself by coming up with Jeffrey Archer novel titles. 'And So to Bed' 'A Word to the Wise' 'Up to a Point' 'The Biter Bit' 'Skating on Thin Ice' 'A Sting in the Tale' And so on, and on. For all I know some of these were real Archer titles.

Eliot didn't move to England until 1914, when he was 25. All the modernists (Proust, Woolf, Wyndham Lewis, Pound, Stein Joyce etc) came of age before cinema was an established cultural presence. The movies were important for some of them, but not a formative influence.
